The club held their Presentation Night at Regatta Way a couple of weeks ago and a cracking night was had by all. Congratulations to the ladies and gents who organised the event which was a great success.
There has been a great deal happening off the pitch since the cricket finished in September;
A side has been entered into the Under 15’s league for the 2010 season. The team will be run by Simon Smith and he will be assisted by Paul Williams who is a parent of the one of the players. Many thanks to Paul for giving up his time to assist.
Winter nets have been booked and will on on Sundays again. The adults will be netting at the Woodhead Hall as before on Sunday evenings from 7-8pm and these will start on the 10th January, the seniors will be joined by the under 15’s squad who will have their own net under the supervision of Simon Smith. Congratulations to John Gell, Helen Hood and Claire Hendry who have all passed their UKCC level 1 coaching qualification. Helen and Claire are the first parents to have taken the qualification - well done!
We have now had 4 people pass the level 1 qualification since the end of last season, this is a fantastic effort. If any other players or parents would like to take a coaching qualification please contact either Simon Smith or John Gell - both contact numbers are on our officials page.
