We have booked the Gamston Community Hall on Sunday afternoons from 3pm until 5pm for the junior academy.

That's all boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 11.

The sessions will run for 6 weeks from Sunday 6th March until Sunday 10th April and will cost just £2.00 per session.

Times
6-7yr olds - 3-4pm (1 hour)
8-11 yr olds - 4-5pm (1 hour)

The first session will involve registration:
Per child - £15
(This will include a GCA polo shirt (orders will be taken) and club insurance)

We have booked the sports hall at West Bridgford Comp on Tuesday evenings from 6-7.30pm, the sessions will run from February 1st until April 5th.

Sessions are open for anybody over the age of 11, including existing senior players who wish to improve their games and will be £5.

I will be running the sessions but will need the assistance of at least one other person for each week, doesn't have to be the same person and can be more than one - could be somebody who has recently taken a coaching qualification and wants to hone their skills, could be somebody who is thinking about taking a qualification or maybe a parent who wants to get involved.

If anybody is able to help me on these nights please make contact as soon as possible so that I can discuss session plans etc prior to the training beginning.

As with last year we will be going back to the basics and building on what we learnt last season; we will be covering all aspects of the game - all equipment will be provided with the exception of bats which you will need to bring with you - we will only be bowling with hard balls so no pads/gloves etc will be required.
