Our academy is rapidly growing and we would welcome the help of some parents to help with the sessions.

Whatever your ability we'd be happy to have you alongside one of our coaches as another pair of hands and eyes to keep the sessions running smoothly.

If your are interested in pursuing this further please speak to one of the coaches on a Sunday morning and we'll get you involved.

We can also put you forward to go on qualified coach courses should this be of interest to you.

The day will begin at 10.30 as usual but the coaching session will end at 11.30.

After a short break Derick Bamber, our overseas player, will be taking all of the groups from the youngest up to the coaching staff for training sessions in front of the pavilion so you can see what skills the children are being taught as well as the senior players.

This will continue until 12.30 and after a further break of half an hour or so the lads will take on the dads on a 10 overs per side basis.

We are then looking to have the main seniors game at 2.30pm.

Why not have a 'one on one' lesson with one of our qualified coaches.

These are for everyone within the club - from the 1st Team down to the Academy.

Whatever your ability, the session will be tailored to you. Whether it be to improve your batting, bowling or fielding the coach will direct the lesson to aid improvement.

If you are interested in having 'one on one' coaching then please contact Simon Smith on 07780 621832

Get yourself down to the ground on Tuesday night for a training session with Derick, our South African Pro.

He's looking to really push the training element at the club and this will be the first of many sessions. Please try to attend (weather permitting)
