On Tuesday night we we're all informed of some great news from Gerry and Leigh. They are now the proud parenst of a baby girl - Isla Marie (8lb 9oz).

Leigh and Isla are said to be doing great and we would all like to congratulate them on this great news.

The summer academy sessions will begin down at Regatta Way from the 2nd May 2010 - running from 10.30 until 12. Can everyone aim to be down at the ground for 10.15 so we can start prompt at 10.30.

The indoor winter nets are drawing to a close with the last two sessions on the 11th and 18th April. These last two sessions will be a combined session for both the under 8's and the over 8's

There were over 30 under 8's at the academy session today and they helped to raise almost £60 for Sport Relief. We would just like to thank all those that attended as well as the coaching staff who controlled the sessions and collected the sponsorship. There is another session next week for the over 8's.

As the new season approaches we are again looking for match ball sponsorship.

Please let Steve Carmody know if either yourself or anyone that you know would like to sponsor a match ball. The challenge is to get everyone involved in the club to sponsor a match ball and also get more people to help the running of the club.

We are asking for £10 per ball to cover the costs of the balls for all our teams.

Please contact Steve Carmody if you are wanting to sponsor a ball and he'll put your name down.

If there is a game you would like to specifically sponsor please advise Steve and he'll try to arrange this.
