The Trent Bridge Community and Development team is looking to recruit six apprentices to take part in a new work placement scheme that seeks to equip applicants with the skills required to secure a career in sport.
The department won the best community scheme prize at the ECB Business of Cricket Awards last year for its work in staging a structured cricket competition for 2010 school pupils.
Successful applicants will be required to have a minimum UKCC L1 coaching award (Our preferred option however would be to recruit applicants who have a UKCC 2 certificate in cricket coaching, this accreditation will allow the student the opportunity to both lead and supervise coaching activity) and will assist in the delivery of School festivals, Holiday Coaching Programmes, Match Day Coaching and Cricket Roadshows across Nottinghamshire. They will work alongside full-time sports development officers for an eight week period beginning in June and will receive a weekly expenses allowance. The placements are open to male and female students.
To apply for a place on the scheme please fill in the following forms:-
